Anika Zaman: San Francisco, California, United States; Anika Laila Zaman was born and raised in New York City. She went to the High School of Art and Design in Manhattan and ended up with a passion for drawing,writing as well as making comics. She continued to study cartooning in the School of Visual Arts for a year before taking a two year break to work in Dhaka, Bangladesh as a concept artist and illustrator in social awareness animations for Shaw Wallace Multimedia Ltd. She is a graduate with a BFA in Illustration at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco. She is currently pursuing a Masters degree in Illustration.
She has a passion for history and loves to read extensively on a variety of subjects. Her hobbies include playing games, wandering about the city and archery.
